Any recommendations for non-drug treatment for insomnia? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)
I have the kind where I wake up after about 4-5 hours and then can't fall asleep again. Been having it regularly for 3.5 months now. I think it is definately stress related as the 1st thing I do when i wake is start making to-do lists. (ugh!) I regularly have a cup of coffee in the morning and a beer or 2 at night about twice a week. I do not notice a difference if I have a beer at night or not. I was vegeterian for 10 years and recently started eating a few servings of fish or chicken a week. I would like to try non-drug treatments, but honestly, I will take the drugs if I have to as a last resort.

What's the best treatment for insomnia? (Answers: 4) (Comments: 0)
For the past few weeks I've been having trouble falling asleep. Once I'm asleep it's fine but it's taking me hours to get to sleep. I've always been able to sleep so I'm not sure what's causing my insomnia. I'm not majorly worried about anything but I think it might be because my brain seems to go into overdrive and I cant help thinking about lots of random things. Are there any tricks/treatments I could use which have worked for you?
