My dermatologist (I have eczema for 18 years, and I'm 18 years old!!) told me that adding some bleach to my bath water (like a tablespoon, nothing much, but I guess it depends on how filled is your bathtub). Soak in it for 15 minutes, at least, and it helps to prevent infection too! I warn you, though, it may stings a bit, and it kind of smells like indoor pool. It worked for me :)

For my face I use Cortozone (it helps itches and provides moisture). For anywhere else, I would suggest using Eucerin. It's for dry skin therapy, but works wonders on my mom's hand eczema and my boss' arms.

The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I've turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use herbal remedies from serenaskin.com, which aim at the root of the disease - the immune system, and are steroid-free.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with anti-eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.

I've tried a lot of medications before but haven't really help. As a last resort i choose natural remedies. I found that it has the real power of curing my eczema. I've tried it and it really works for me, in less than one week you can already notice a lot improvement. I hope it helps you too.

I think I either have eczema or psoriasis but I just went to Walmart last week and bought a psoriasis gel (couldn't find one for eczema) for $6. I bought it because the hydrocortizone spray wasn't clearing up my rash on both my hips. Luckily the gel did work and now I'm clear of it. The bottle also said that it prevents future breakout. It's not expensive. You ought to try it if the home remedy doesn't work.
