What can happen if someone used a suppository even without having a hemorrhoid?

If they thought they had a hemorrhoid, but it was not, then used a suppository to cure it?

I have a hemorrhoid, just asking what if it's not then I used a suppository.

a Suppository is just a drug given up the 'back passage'.

It's an effective way of providing a slow release of drugs for all sorts of reasons.
In the department I work in, we routinely give diclofenac suppositories for post operative analgesia.

Taking one is the same as taking the drug orally, except they tend to be wax coated and release their load directly into the bloodstream from the bowel.
