Show me another »How to deal with an internal hemorrhoid?
I've had (what I believe to be) an internal hemorrhoid for a few days and it's become very painful, if not impossible to pass a BM. The hemorrhoid is painful enough, and when I clean it i have a little bit of pinkish red on the tissue. I bought Preporation H suppositories and some natural stool softeners today, and took both. How long can I expect this nasty thing, and any suggestions on dealing with the intense pain of trying to BM?

I suggest seeing a doctor as soon as possible! However you can also use baby teething gel to numb the area. Hemorrhoids can last days, weeks and even months. Make sure not to strain when having a bm. I would also suggest using baby wipes instead of toilet paper, just make sure you have a special trash can next to your toilet, these are not flush-able.

- i tried all of things too they don't cure anything they just treat the symptoms if you want to cure them for good do what i did and use an herbal product that treats the cause of the problem not just the symptoms
