Hello there. Keep it moisturized (Vaseline is a good option). For herbal effective remedy go to http://www.champori.com and get their anti-eczema cream. It works better than anything else for me.
Best,
Bernadette

If I were you I would only use All natural or organic products on skin. No Chemicals. Do a little research on this!

I use a wash, and oil to treat my son's eczema. When the spots appear, I apply the oil and the eczema disappears in 24 hours. The products work great! If you would like information/samples let me know (it's against community rules to leave the information here).

if you want to avoid skin from scarring better try to avoid scratching the skin for a break in the skin can cause secondary skin infections. stop the itch and prevent eczema from flaring up by getting the moisturized. and better keep fingernails short for you might forget sometimes that you have accidentally scratch it.

try also avoiding a lot of things that can trigger eczema like:

    - avoid perfumed skin care and body care products
    - avoid extreme hot and cold weather conditions
    - avoid keeping fingernails long
    - avoid scratching the affected area
    - avoid long baths
    - avoid processed foods
    - avoid skin irritants and allergens
    - avoid clothes and material that are rough, course, scratchy and tight
    - avoid activities that can make you sweat
    - avoid smoking and alcohol

be gentle with your skin. visit http://www.skinoriginal.com for more tips on how to rejuvenate skin.
