What the heck is this stupid rash? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)
A few days ago this red rash that looks like eczema appeared on my chest. It was so itchy but it went away when i stopped scratching it. Now the rash is on my shoulder, leg, and back. This is when i stopped thinking it was eczema, it usually doesn't spread. I think it might be an allergic reaction to my new blankets but i'm not sure. I rubbed eledel ( an eczema medicine) on my back and it seemed to help...
I know, I know, I should go to the doctor. I'm getting to it. I just want to know if someone has had similar symtoms and what it was. What would help it?
Also, what are hives supposed to look like, I've never gotten them.
The rash is a bunch of small dots that are red. As i scratch them they get bigger?
What the heck is going on with my skin!?

Ca allergy tests be wrong? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)
My Daughter had a bad reaction to a nut when she was young about 6. We took her to get tested and the Dr said, it was due to her eczema medicine that had caused her allergy. So for the past 10 years she has avoided all nuts and carried an epi pen. The other week when she was at the Drs they said they wanted to test her again, she had allergies to something else so they were testing a few things.
Anyway the test for nut allergy came back negative,so whilst at a wedding at the weekend she ate some sugar almonds and she had a reaction, her eyes started to close and her skin got lots of hives. She went to the Drs this morning and they said she is not allergic to nuts, it must have been something else, but is it possible the allergy test was wrong.
Luckly this reaction was not as bad as the ones she had when she was younger, but still I don't want her in any danger, and if she is allergic I feel she should know for sure. I asked for another test and they said it was a waste of time it would have the same result. But how can it when she tested positive 10 years ago.

red rash on chin? (Answers: 4) (Comments: 0)
I think i have eczema or dermatitis or something on my chin. I've tried using my little brother's eczema medicine and also went out and spent a fortune on Aveeno lotions and face washes and Aquafor. It's only on my chin and is incredibly sore and dry. Any advice on some at home remedies to calm the redness and soothe the irritation? Any lotions or creams you recommend?
